Amani Women Center (AWC) Grateful to Host Emory Woman's Club (EWC)

February 26, 2017

A Big thank you to Emory Woman's Club for paying Amani Women Center a visit. We had a lovely discussion on how to continue serving the refugee community and lots of ideas on how to forge new partnerships and collaborations.

Conversations included the impact of this year’s sewing program initiative by Amani Women Center and finding ways to extend services to the community and bringing people together.

We are also very grateful for all the donations of beads and fabric for our sewing program.

The mission of Amani Women Center is to educate and empower refugee and immigrant women with culturally sensitive tools that contribute to their overall well-being. Workshops and other programs are
hosted at the Amani Women Center.
